Ericsson Will Launch New Global Network Operating Center In China
Swedish networking equipment maker Telefon AB L.M. Ericsson has announced that to meet the increasing demands for telecom management services in China and the world, the company will set up a new global network operating center in China.
The company stated that the new global network operating center aims to enhance its managed service delivery range and capacity in China. The new center plans to initially hire 300 employees and the number will increase to 500 within six months.
Ericsson’s Chinese service center currently provides services such as customer support, network design and optimization, system integration, network deployment and special activity support. The company stated the new operating center will offer fresh blood to its service center in China.
At present, Ericsson has three other network operating centers in Romania, India and Mexico, respectively. Its largest network operating center is located in India, which also has a global service center with over 5,000 employees.
Financial details about the investment have not yet been revealed.
