Woody’s vodka coolers recalled in Alberta
A recall of a brand of vodka cooler sold in Alberta has been expanded after glass particles were found inside some bottles in Manitoba and Ontario.
The recall has now expanded to include all Woody’s Vodka Beverages. CBC
The Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission announced Friday that all types of Woody’s Vodka Beverages must be removed from liquor stores, bars and restaurants across the province.
Last week, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a recall on some lots of Woody’s Mexican Lime Alcoholic Vodka Beverage because of concerns over glass particles.
The products now under recall include:
The AGLC is asking all liquor stores, pubs, bars, restaurants, lounges and clubs to remove the product and return it to the main liquor warehouse.
People can obtain a refund if they return the beverages to the original store of purchase.
The coolers are sold in packages of four 330 ml bottles.
