Nyko Power Grip Now Available for Nintendo 3DS

September saw the CTA Digital Deluxe Power Grip hit markets for the Nintendo 3DS and adding to the list of exclusive accessories being released for the handheld, the Nyko Power Grip has arrived for gamers the U.S. This device is claimed by its maker to provide the 3DS with thrice the amount its normal battery life.
The ergonomic grip of this product apparently endows players with added comfort and stability during gaming sessions. In order to function, the Nyko Power Grip does not require the existing battery of the 3DS to be removed. It works in conjunction with the other battery to supply this device with extra juice.
“Comfort is a necessity in hand-held gaming. We designed the Power Grip to be the perfect ergonomic solution for long road trips, cross-country flights and marathon gaming sessions with the Nintendo 3DS,” shared, Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing at Nyko.
The Power Grip accessory recharges via the handheld’s standard AC adaptor and can be clipped on to it without the need to remove the back cover. This holiday season is set to be a busy one for 3DS users, as a number of huge releases including Mario Kart 7 are headed for the device. Fans of this title can set their eyes on the new Mario Kart cases which are now available for the 3DS.
Moreover, a system update for the handheld which is launching this month, will provide it with 3D video recording capabilities. Then there’s the Hulu Plus app planned for release later this year that will enable 3DS and Wii users to stream TV content on their devices.
Gamers in U.S. can now buy the Nyko Power Grip for the Nintendo 3DS at a price of 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,477).
