Just a tiny while earlier, we reported about the DSiWare titles that made it through to this week’s list. Among the games were Plants vs. Zombies, Rabi Laby and 5 in 1 Mahjong. The WiiWare this time around comprises of Liight as well as the demo version of Mix Superstar. It however appears that the Virtual Console segment is given a miss this week.

Liight is published by Studio Walljump and is noted to be a single player title. This puzzle-solving game is made up of shadows and light which are all vital components for solving puzzles and creating music on a special board. When players endow a target with matching hues, it will illuminate and play music. When all the targets are glowing and the music is played together, the complete puzzle is finally cracked. According to the company, each puzzle has its own tune to make players groove to. The Nonstop mode is looked upon as a fast-paced arcade puzzle game with the basic concepts featured in Solve mode for attaining a high score. Wii owners can even formulate their own puzzles via Create mode and share them with friends through WiiConnect24 service.
The demo version of Mix Superstar grants gamers to create, mix and record their own musical masterpieces via their Nintendo Wii system. Published by Digital Leisure, the title claims to offer over 1,000 Dance, Techno and Hip Hop loops that span across various instruments such as Bass, Guitar, Drum, Synth and voice tracks. After formulating the new creation, players can port it to their computer or share it with others through WiiConnect24 service. Friends who also own a copy of the game can collaborate on the mixes stirred up by players. The title is fully compatible with Logitech USB Microphone and the Wii Speak accessory. Additional loop packs drenched in various genres can be acquired through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Pay & Play service.
While Liight is priced at 500 Wii Points, Nintendo Wii owners can acquire the demo version of Mix Superstar absolutely free of cost. The full version of the same is however tagged at 500 Wii Points.
