Gears of War 3 Title Update #3 Available Now

Epic Games has announced through its community blog that the Gears of War 3 Title Update #3 can be downloaded now on the Xbox 360. Numerous balance tweaks, bug repairs and more are stated to be a part of this update which will get downloaded automatically on starting the game when connected to Xbox Live.
After the installation of this update, all unlockable and non-purchasable characters from Gears 3 will be unlocked for System Link play. However, on-line play would still restrict players to characters that they have unlocked or have bought through DLCs.
Moreover, ‘classic’ stalemates are now enabled on the Execution and Warzone playlists. An option exists in private Execution to stop this feature and re-enable the man-up rule. Also available through this update, is an additional control mechanic for the ghost camera. The view can now be raised and lowered using the Xbox controller D-pad.
The Must Active Reload mutator will now be more restrictive, while some of the issues with the Torque Bow and OneShot have also been fixed. In addition, the Retribution ribbon from this game’s multiplayer modes will be made compatible with dedicated servers.
Another gameplay tweak that’s a part of this update is the new capability of players which grants them to begin execution sequences by holding the ‘Y’ buttons before being in range of a DBNO (down but not out) player and then walking into activation range. This is comparable to holding the ‘X’ button in order to queue up a weapon pick-up sequence when walking into the range of a dropped weapon.
Apart from all the above mentioned additions, a massive number of general and exploit repairs also make their way into the Gears of War 3 Title Update #3 which is downloadable now.
