It had been reported by us back in August that Football Manager 2011 is expected to be released by the end of 2010. Developed by Sports Interactive and published by Sega, the demo of the new football manager supporting PC and Mac has been hosted on the official servers and is being offered for free to game enthusiasts.

Football Manager 2011

Wrapped in two flavors, Strawberry and Vanilla, the demo will consist of the first half of the 2010/2011 season and the saved files will be compatible with the full game which will be released early in November. This will let players continue from thereon in the full client of Football Manager 2011.

Players can kick begin with a few of the world’s biggest leagues in the Strawberry version of the demo. Allowing gamers to measure their managing capabilities by employing teams from multiple countries, the 2011 edition of the footie managerial offers plenty of in-game languages. A few of them are English, Spanish, Danish, Norwegian, Polish, French and Italian. The Quickstart leagues offered in-game are Scotland, Portugal, Spain, and England in addition to France, Italy, Denmark as well as Norway, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.

The Vanilla version of the demo is stripped down to just the bare essentials with reduction in asset sizes and featuring the Scottish and English leagues only to minimize the download size. It is only offered in English language with the aforementioned two Quickstart leagues.

More intricacies for players about how to get their hands on the newly released demo can be accessed from the official website for Football Manager 2011. The game launch is set for November 5, 2010 and will support PC and Mac. Football Manager Handheld 2011 for Sony PSP is expected to unveil alongside the full game release.
