Disney Epic Mickey Collector’s edition Unveiled
North American gamers who have been waiting to load Disney Epic Mickey on their Wii systems can take the first step towards the title as the pre-order season kicked-off yesterday. Disney Interactive Studios has now revealed that the game’s Collector’s Edition will be released alongside the standard edition this holiday season.

The Disney Epic Mickey Collector’s Edition is stated to embrace the full version of the game, a five inch collectible figurine, Wii console skins and remote faceplate along with a bonus DVD, documenting behind-the-scenes video and other content. Transporting Mickey Mouse from tv screens to video game consoles, this title narrates an epic journey infused with creativity and discovery.
“We’re thrilled to roll out this Collectors’ Edition featuring so many unique items including the collectible Disney Epic Mickey figurine and content that will surprise and delight gamers and Disney fans alike,” beamed Graham Hopper, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Disney Interactive Studios. “The addition of the bonus DVD with behind-the-scenes video and more will enhance and expand the overall Disney Epic Mickey experience.”
Allowing gamers to unleash their creative strokes, the title puts them into Mickey’s shoes in an alternate world titled Wasteland. Players will have to revive long forgotten Disney characters by manifesting their painting skills before transforming into an epic hero. Embedded with an innovative style of gameplay dubbed Playstyle Matters, the game offers several possibilities and storylines backed with numerous consequences.
Wii gamers can lay their hands on Disney Epic Mickey Collector’s Edition for an estimated price of 69.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,294) while the standard edition will be available for a price of 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,353).
