Locklear Discharged From Hospital
Heather Locklear is in “good spirits” after she was released from hospital in California on Friday.
The troubled actress was admitted to the Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, California on Thursday after her sister reportedly called emergency services to the star’s home.
She spent a night under the care of physicians before she was deemed well enough to be released.
No further details about what caused the health crisis have been released but a hospital spokesperson insists Locklear has made a good recovery.
The representative told reporters, “She’s fine, she was mobile, she was walking, she was dressed, she was talkative and she’ll have follow-up care through her personal physicians. Spirits were very good, she was calm and chit-chatty (sic). Her parents were very glad when the physicians decided she was well enough to be discharged.”
The rep also cleared up false reports suggesting the Melrose Place star had attempted suicide, adding, “Her parents wanted her fans to know this was not a suicide attempt and that she’s doing really well and very good.”
