Jane’s Addiction Cancel Gigs Due To Family Illness
Rockers Jane’S Addiction scrapped two gigs this week to grant drummer Stephen Perkins to support a family member suffering a “severe illness”.
The band was due to play at The Joint in Las Vegas on Wednesday, but pulled out of the show at the last minute.
The promoters for the concert revealed, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jane’s Addiction had to cancel their performance at (event) Holiday Havoc on Dec 7 because of a severe illness with one of their family members.”
They scrapped another gig in Oakland, California on Friday night and guitarist Dave Navarro told fans on Twitter.com, “Our prayers are with Stephen and his family.”
