Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg hit the red carpet for London premiere of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol
Tom Cruise was joined on the red carpet at the BFI IMAX in London by co-stars Paula Patton and Simon Pegg and the film’s director Brad Bird.
Cruise returns as Impossible Mission Force agent Ethan Hunt. Disavowed and blamed for the terrorist bombings of the Kremlin, Hunt and his bureau face new challenges and must find a way to clear their agency’s name without resources or backup.
He described how much he enjoyed making the fourth Mission: Impossible.
“It’s fun, Paula and everyone, us all being together, it is really fun all being together. You work so hard when you are making the movie, you speak about what it is going to be like when it comes out and the fun we are going to have and it really is a lot of fun. That is what it is about. We’re here and we cannot wait for people to see it,” Cruise said.
Co-star Simon Pegg, who was united with Cruise for the second time, had nothing but praise for the leading man:
“He is a very generous guy, the thing I like about Tom is that he wants everyone to enjoy themselves not just around on the film set but the people that go and see the film as well. He is not happy unless everyone is happy. That is a nice way to be I think,” he said.
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is released in the UK on December 26.
