Preity ready to rock the idiot box…
Bollywood Dimple beauty Preity Zinta, who is making her foray into tv with Guinness World Records-Ab India Todega, is ready to rule the tube donning a new sporty avatar. The show which marks pretty Preity’s debut as a host is adapted from the international series of Guinness World record that has enthralled the audience across 90 countries. The show is scheduled to take place at the end of this month on Colors.
The 35-year-old is being styled by fashion designer Surily Goel and her promo look is complete with a waistcoat over a casual shirt teamed with boots and gloves.
The actress is happy to add some star- power in the show. “I was sure that whenever I do make a move to the small screen, it would be something I believe in. Guinness World records – Ab India Todega is the perfect platform for my tv debut. The show reflects my ideology to push oneself and compete with the best. There is also a feeling of pride in hosting a show that will put India on the international pedestal and will bring fame for Indians. I am sure viewers will have a good time watching the show,” she stated in a statement.
There is a titter in the media that the actress is being paid Rs.35 lakh per episode, but the channel refused to comment on this.
Preity is known to seize the right opportunities and embrace the challenges. She has successfully proved her potential in the film industry and has many block busters under her belt. Many aspire to be in her shoes. She demonstrated her business expertise by bagging the franchise of the Mohali team in IPL.
She also went to the prestigious Harvard University in the US for a brief management course.
