Lady Gaga still reeling from Alexander McQueen’s death
‘Poker Face’ singer Lady Gaga is still mourning the death of British fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who was a close friend and inspiration.
Gaga, 23, real name Stefani Germanotta, who frequently wore McQueen’s designs, was left devastated after he was found dead in his London apartment last month.
She admits she is deeply saddened by the tragedy – because she counted on McQueen’s creations to inspire her.
“I feel left with nobody to inspire me any more. I’m an outcast from the music industry,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling Jonathan Ross.
“I don’t have any friends in the music business. People in Britain are the ones who’ve really been my friends,” she said.
McQueen was found hanged in his home and a post-mortem examination confirmed the 40 year old died from asphyxiation.
