Diana Rigg’s girl, Rachael Stirling, is getting married
It was claimed that Rachael, 33, broke up with her previous boyfriend, John Lycett Green, the grandson of Sir John Betjeman, because he couldn’t cope with her lesbian scenes in the drama Tipping the Velvet.
Polly Toynbee may rail in The Guardian that David Cameron’s huge society is a “busted flush,” but she doesn’t seem to be busted herself. “When you get older, you get invisible. People don’t see you. I would love, for instance, to have played J M Barrie in the film Finding Neverland, but they cast Johnny Depp, who played him as a handsome young man.
“The fact is Barrie was a weedy tiny Scottish fellow with a huge moustache, but by casting Depp it made him into a romantic lead. Of course it is ridiculous”.
